Create and edit a design through conversation

Describe your design on an empty page, then edit the text and images directly or continue through conversation.

Start with a description

  1. In My documents, choose New document, select a size, and choose Create a design with AI. You can also open conversational editing in an empty document.
  2. Describe the purpose, wording, colors, and style. Ask for product images to be placed separately if you want to replace them later.
  3. Check the maximum credit cost, including any new images, then choose Create design. There is no need to submit the same request again while it is running.
  4. Review and apply the draft. Text remains editable, and images are separate elements.

For example: “Create an ice cream ad with 30% off until tomorrow. Show a playfully crying shop owner and happy children. Use a summer gradient and large text. Place the ice cream separately so I can replace it later.” Creation starts on one empty page. Creating a design or redesigning the current page can generate up to five new images when needed; it does not always generate five.

Change the overall look or a specific element

  1. Open the page you want to change and choose conversational editing. Without a selected target, your request applies to the entire current page.
  2. To change specific elements, choose Select target and click them on the canvas. If elements overlap, choose from the list. You can also find an element with @ in the input.
  3. Check whether the scope is Entire current page or your @mentions, then describe the text, color, or layout changes you want.

To change the overall look, leave targets unselected and ask: “Keep the content and redesign this as a refreshing summer ad.” To change just a heading, select it and ask: “Change only the wording to Summer special offer. Keep its position and size.” Locked elements and other pages stay unchanged.

Use an uploaded image or a style reference

Choose one image from My uploads in the current workspace and attach it to your request. Use Add to design when asking to place or replace an image. Use Style reference to refer to its colors and mood without placing it in the design. To replace a generated product image, apply the draft and select that image. The other text and layout can stay unchanged.

Review and apply a draft

  1. Check the displayed credit cost, then submit your request.
  2. When a draft is ready, select its picture for a larger preview. Previewing does not change your current document.
  3. Apply the draft if you want to use it. Switch to manual editing to change text and images directly on the canvas.
  4. When you request another AI edit after a manual change, your changes are saved as a draft and become the starting point.

If the AI asks a question or cannot proceed, choose an editable target or make your request more specific.

Continue in another direction

Draft history shows how your work developed. Opening a previous draft or comparing two drafts does not change your current document. Continue from this draft saves your current work and starts a new branch from the selected draft. Previous drafts remain in the history.

When credits are used

A usable draft costs 100 credits from the current workspace, even if you do not apply it. When creating or redesigning the current page needs new images, each completed image has the additional generation cost shown on screen. The maximum amount is not a flat fee. Paid credits from a subscription or top-up are required. Check the maximum cost before submitting.

Credits and usage

If images are generated but the design cannot be completed, there is no draft fee, but the completed images are charged. You can check those images and results again. Pending credit usage is shown separately from confirmed usage. Checking the same request, applying, opening or comparing drafts, and manual editing are free. A new AI request has a separate cost.

What is sent to the AI

Conversational editing uses OpenAI. Your request, document text and structure, and images attached as style references are sent to OpenAI. Check your request and reference images for information that should not be shared.
