Connect an AI agent

Let an external AI agent read and edit your designs in TtokTtokCanvas.

Before connecting

You can connect a personal Pro workspace or an active Team Pro workspace. Available team actions depend on your current role. Review the permissions requested by the app before allowing access. Reading, editing, AI image generation, file export, and share-link management are separate permissions. AI image generation uses credits from the connected workspace. Designs created from team templates stay in the connected team. Brand application changes design colors. Place the logo separately at your chosen position; fonts are not changed automatically.

Connect from Claude

  1. Have your TtokTtokCanvas OAuth Client ID and Client Secret ready. These are different from an account API key. Contact support if you have not received connection credentials.
  2. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. For a team account, an organization owner may need to add the connector first.
  3. Enter https://ttokttokcanvas.com/mcp as the server URL. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret in Advanced settings.
  4. Start connecting, then review the signed-in account, selected workspace and requested permissions. Allow access if these match the connection you want.
  5. Enable the connector in a Claude conversation and start with a read request, such as “Find three templates available in TtokTtokCanvas.”

Ask about connection credentials

Manage or disconnect an app

Open Account settings → Security → Connected apps to see connected apps and their permissions. Disconnecting stops further access through that connection and keeps your existing documents. To use it again, reconnect from Claude. You can still view and disconnect apps after Pro access ends.

Tools that use an API key

Tools that support authentication headers for remote MCP can use the existing API-key method. Issue a key under Account settings → Security → API keys, then add it to the tool's authentication settings as Authorization: Bearer <API_KEY>. Do not put keys in URL query parameters or conversation messages. Follow that tool's MCP guide for its configuration location and format.

Connection and download problems

Check the signed-in account and its Pro status first. If a permission is missing, review the required access and reconnect. Download URLs also require authentication; pasting the URL into a browser alone will not work. An exported file URL can be downloaded once. If your agent already downloaded it, ask for that file or export again.
