Line up edges and distribute elements for a tidy layout.
Align to a shared reference
- Select the elements you want to align.
- Open element alignment and choose an edge or center alignment.
- When an action says it aligns to the page, the page is its reference.
Make gaps equal
Select at least three elements and choose equal horizontal or vertical spacing. Arrange them in the intended order before applying the action.
Use guides while moving
Guides appear as you move elements to help you line them up with other elements or the page. Zoom changes the displayed size; Properties shows the actual document position and dimensions.
Text alignment moves words inside a text box. Element alignment moves the text box or photo itself.
